Dr. Chung Chien Hsia

Growing up, Dr. Hsia would go to the dentist every six months. Almost always, there would be a problem with his teeth. Fortunately, he ended up meeting a dentist later who took the time to alleviate his discomfort and compassionately explain how to take care of his smile. This experience ultimately inspired him to pursue a career in dentistry!

When it came time to attend college, Dr. Hsia pursued his studies at the University of Central Florida, which is where he obtained his degree in electrical engineering. Then, he made his dream of becoming a dentist a reality by graduating from the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. Of course, this was just the beginning of his studies. In addition to completing a 300-hour interdisciplinary program through the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, he is now certified to offer nitrous oxide sedation.

Although Dr. Hsia’s accomplishments are indeed impressive, what excites him most is that he’s now doing what originally inspired him to become a dentist in the first place: helping others! Giving patients in Garland a beautiful smile, improving their oral health, and helping them get out of pain never stops being rewarding for him.

When Dr. Hsia isn’t at the office, you’ll probably find him in the kitchen. That’s because his biggest passion outside of dentistry is cooking! He also enjoys working out, playing badminton, traveling, and watching movies in his free time.
